Meet Brandy, she is a high energy girl who just wants to have some fun.

We did our first High School Senior shoot for 2008 with Brandy the other day. Below are a couple of our favorites from the shoot. The style is definitely not your run of the mill studio pictures. Which really goes to show you what you can do when you combine the fiery personality of Brandy with a little bit of surf at the beach.

We all had a great couple of hours together, shooting in the studio and around Long Beach. Thanks Brandy if you happen to read this.

Our newly renovated photography rental studio is perfect for small to medium size projects. The spacious, nearly 1000 sq. ft studio space, offers a wide array of configurations for the fashion, portrait, product, and model photographer. Designed for both professionals and amateurs alike, the inexpensive rental space is perfect for just about any photography project.

Studio Features:

• Nearly 700 sq. ft. of shooting space with plenty of room to backup for longer lenses (ie. 85mm and longer).
• 10 foot high ceilings.
• Permanently mounted 3 roller background rack, holds standard 9 foot rolls for quick changes.

This was a great photo shoot which on paper should have been 2 hours long, but turned into a marathon 5 hour shoot. Worth the effort, as you can see from the image above, tons of great images.

We had a great turn out for the Monster Lighting Tactics II Workshop this past weekend. I don’t think we could have squeezed another person in, the place was packed wall-to-wall with photographers and models. This was only the second of David Griffin’s workshops but for sure won’t be the last. David really pulled out all, or maybe most of the tricks. If he had another 100 hours maybe then he could have covered all the photography lighting topics in his head.

Be sure to be on the lookout for his next workshop!

Started to see a few of the photos posted by attendees on flickr, very exciting and in addition to that some creative people judging by what I have seen in the pool and various personal streams. (note: small amount of personal jealousy)
