New site is up and a big thanks!

Actually it has been up for a few days now. Just been busy working and haven’t had a chance to mention it, but chances are you already figured out that the new site is up as you would have spotted the new look on your way to this blog.

Many Thanks
Some really exciting things have been happening around the studio and we are really appreciative to those people who have selected us as to photograph for them and those of you have supported our work with your own talents. You have entrusted us to record the important moments, projects and feelings in a permanent way. We realize the importance and do all we can to meet or exceed your expectations. Just wanted to let you know how important you are to us and that you are very appreciated. We are enjoying the challenges and moments with you and hope you are having as much fun as we are too.

New portfolio and a Photography Workshop

Started design and production of a new front portfolio section for this site. Since we started here a few months back we have been using this blog as our main web site. I think the time has come for a proper and more presentable front-end that will display our photographic work in a better light, obvious pun intended.

Here is a screen shot of the comp I put together last night.
new smash web site

Very little flash will be used, I am balancing user friendly with search engine friendly. Designed around a couple of PHP pages, some CSS and a sprinkle of Flash the site will be easy for me to maintain and update. The focus being primarily on making it as easy as possible for visitors interested in our work to see exactly what we do.

Photography Workshop
UPDATE: Date of the workshop has been changed to March 30, 2008.

Recently struck a deal with a local photographer, David Griffin, who will be hosting a series of photography workshops at our studio. The first one is scheduled for March 23, 2008 March 30, 2008.

He will be going over inexpensive DIY photography tools and lighting techniques. A live model will be present so that workshop attendees will have someone to try out all their new knowledge on. More info to come, for now read the flyer below for full details.

I’m excited about the workshop, you should be too! The cost for all that your getting is very low and I understand he David will be capping the number of attendees so be sure to secure your spot soon.

Contact David Griffin to RSVP or if you have questions related to the workshop.
